From Albany: "Located along the North side of Albany, close to the West Hill and Arbor Hill neighborhoods, this 80-acre park was established in 1975 by Mayor Erastus Corning II and the City of Albany's Common Council. The Tivoli Lake Preserve is home to many natural attractions. This includes a variety of different wildflower and animal species, trails for walking and running, and a lake for fishing and observing wildlife. The Patroon Creek, which is approximately 7 miles long, also flows through the Preserve."

From Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy: "The Normans Kill Preserves consist of three parcels that were obtained from Albany County in 2005 because of non-payment of taxes. The three parcels total 46 acres. They are on both sides of the year-2000 Delaware Avenue landslide; and include over a half-mile of the frontage on the Normans Kill in an area directly across from the City of Albany’s Stevens Farm."
